Terms & Conditions

Numbersaurus is operated by GOTOES LIMITED, registered in England, company no. 16658520. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Contact: hello@numbersaurus.com.

1. What Numbersaurus is

Numbersaurus is an online maths practice service for children of roughly ages 4 to 11. It plays like a game: it finds the skills a child is missing, teaches from there, and shows the grown-up what it found. It runs in a web browser; there is nothing to install.

Numbersaurus supports a child's maths learning. It is not a formal assessment and does not replace a teacher or an educational-needs professional.

2. Who can use it

Accounts are created and managed by an adult (18 or over) with parental responsibility for the children who play — we call them the grown-up. Children use Numbersaurus under their grown-up's supervision and through profiles the grown-up sets up. The grown-up is responsible for the account and for the accuracy of what they enter.

3. Trying it for free

Before any payment, a child can play a free demo burst so you can see what Numbersaurus does. After the demo, continuing requires a subscription or an access code.

4. Subscriptions, price and payment

  • The subscription is £5 a month or £50 a year (two months free), covering the children in your family account.
  • Purchases are made through Paddle, our merchant of record. Your purchase contract for the payment is with Paddle; Paddle handles VAT and sales tax and is the name that appears on your card statement. Paddle's checkout buyer terms apply to the purchase alongside these terms.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. See the Refunds & Cancellation Policy for how to cancel and the 14-day refund right.
  • We may change prices for future renewal periods. If we do, we will tell you in advance by email so you can cancel first if you wish.

5. Access codes

We issue a limited number of access codes that grant free access without a subscription. Codes are single-use and non-transferable once redeemed. Free access granted by a code lasts until we revoke it; we may revoke a code if it is abused (for example, shared or resold). Codes have no cash value and nothing is owed if one is revoked.

6. Your account

Sign-in is by email: we send a sign-in link to the grown-up's email address, so keeping that mailbox secure keeps the account secure. Tell us at hello@numbersaurus.com if you think someone else has used your account.

7. Acceptable use

Numbersaurus is for personal, non-commercial use by your family. Please do not resell access, share your account outside your household, attempt to disrupt the service or other families' data, or use it in a way that breaks the law.

8. Our content

The Numbersaurus software, activities, artwork and name belong to GOTOES LIMITED or its licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal right to use the service; it does not transfer any ownership.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Numbersaurus available and improving, and we may change or add features over time. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. If we ever decide to withdraw the service, we will give paying subscribers reasonable notice and refund any period paid for but not provided.

10. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage we cause. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses — Numbersaurus is a consumer service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Numbersaurus and cancel at any time (see the Refunds & Cancellation Policy). We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms; if we do, we will refund any remaining paid period unless the breach was deliberate abuse.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. For material changes we will tell subscribers by email before they take effect. The date below shows when they last changed.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes can be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may also use your local courts and rely on your local consumer law.
